2023

Talogy’s flexible, modular assessment technology starts to make its mark in the talent assessment industry. This one-of-a-kind technology allows us to create flexible, engaging, and unique talent assessment solutions for our clients, finding the perfect balance between insight and efficiency.

2022

We rebrand ourselves to Talogy, officially uniting our company and all acquired talent businesses: Cubiks, Caliper, JCA Global, Performance Assessment Network, Select International, EB Jacobs, IPAT, Ottmann, Human Scope, Performance Based Selection, a&dc, Innovative HR Solutions, OPRA, and Propel. Talogy brings together the best talent management solutions in the industry.

2021

We close the year with a Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology silver award in ‘Best Advance in Unique Talent Management Technology’ staying true to the innovation culture that is rooted in our psychology + technology philosophy.

We strategically expand into geographic regions with a previously small footprint, strengthening our leadership position in the global talent solutions market. We make eight acquisitions in 2021 and bring unique knowledge and teams that expand our portfolio and give clients global solutions, with experts firmly on the ground.

2020

Weathering the storm of the pandemic, we innovate, we mold. Even amidst global uncertainty, we push the limits and look to the future. Our brightest minds gather to work out how to use AI responsibly and fairly and develop our new cognitive assessment Mindgage.

We begin to adapt and introduce several new initiatives and solutions around Emotional Intelligence to our communities to help individuals and organizations preserve business continuity and build resilience through these challenging times.

2019

We acquire Cubiks and Caliper – two critical acquisitions that expand our talent management assessment portfolio, our team of experts, and our reach. With in-house experts across the globe, our capabilities strengthen so we can better serve our clients worldwide.

2018

We acquire Select International bringing into fold unique talent management solutions to fill gaps within markets: specific assessment solutions across verticals include the manufacturing and healthcare industries.

JCA also becomes part of our company and launches the EI Zone app, Resilience Report, and the second edition of ‘Emotional Intelligence @ Work’.

2017

We acquire Performance Assessment Network and begin to focus on growing talent management solutions. The PAN acquisition comes with IPAT bringing Cattell’s globally acclaimed 16pf personality assessment into the mix.

2015

We launch the first animated situational judgment test.

2014

JCA launches the book ‘Emotional Intelligence @ Work’.

2010

Propel International is founded with a vision to create a world class talent assessment and development consultancy to provide solutions that are of the highest quality and add true value to clients.

2005

Human Scope is founded with a goal to deliver high quality organizational psychology applications combined with a pragmatic business focus.

2000

Cubiks is established with the focus to help people and organizations progress through assessment and development programs.

Performance Assessment Network (PAN) is established to offer a full range of assessment and development products through a web-based system.

1997

OPRA is founded to provide cost effective business psychology solutions to the New Zealand market.

1994

Caliper begins its global expansion.

1993

Select International is established with the belief that employee assessments could – and should – be administered on a computer to provide immediate results and a better experience for candidates and hiring managers.

John Cooper Associates (JCA) is founded. This organization later brings the Emotional Intelligence Profile assessment and development solution to the market.

1988

We begin computer testing.

1981

We publish the Basic Skills Test (BST) series of tests.

1961

Caliper is founded to fulfill a request to select effective insurance sales agents and to figure out a problem with existing tests at the time, known as “acute fakability.” That is how the Caliper Profile is born.

1957

We publish our first intellectual property – the Employee Aptitude Survey (EAS) series of assessments.

1946

Our company is founded by Floyd E. Ruch to help integrate young veterans coming back from World War II into the workforce. Talogy continues to pursue the purpose of helping people and organizations find the best fit and culture for each to this day.
